Stand-up comedian Vidushi Swaroop, who made comments on prostitution in one of her gigs, has angered the internet. The comedian is being heavily trolled for calling prostitution a ‘cool profession’.
“Toh mujhe na prostitution bahot cool profession lagta hai… I will prove how…,” the comedian said in one of her acts.
The clip was shared by an X, formerly Twitter, user Dr Manjeet Dhiman on the platform and wrote, “Nothing is more dumb than saying Prostitution is a cool profession, ask those women who are working & going through these things. Those who are laughing & encouraging her for her idiotic stuff, please start using your brain.”
Many other people also reacted to Vidushi Swaroop calling prostitution a ‘cool profession’ and slammed the comedian.
