New Delhi: A child fell into a 40-foot-deep borewell at the Delhi Jal Board plant near Keshopur Mandi near Vikaspuri in the national capital, said officials on Sunday. The call regarding the incident was received by the authorities around 1 am.
The Delhi Fire Service, NDRF and Delhi Police are currently at the spot, conducting a rescue operation.
