Born on June 23, 1962, in Nipani, Karnataka, Justice Varale’s formative years set the stage for a distinguished legal career.

Academic pursuits

Graduating in Arts and Law from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, he laid the groundwork for his legal expertise.

Enrollment as advocate

Taking a significant step, Justice Varale enrolled as an advocate in 1985, marking the commencement of his legal practice.

Elevated to the bench

Recognising his legal acumen, he was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court in July 2008, beginning a tenure marked by diligence and commitment.

Path to permanency

Within three years, Justice Varale ascended to the position of a permanent judge, solidifying his role in shaping legal discourse in the Bombay High Court.
