Train approaching towards Godhra catches fire in Gujarat’s Dahod | Watch

A fire broke out in one of the coaches of the Dahod Anand Memu train at the Jakot station in the Dahod district of Gujarat on Friday. According to reports, the  MEMU rain (electric multiple-unit train that serves short and medium-distance routes) was going towards Godhra when the incident took place at the Jakot station.

There was a stampede among the people. The smoke is visible from a distance. However, no casualties or injuries were reported.

Firefighters have arrived at the scene, and they are currently working to control the fire.

The Dahod Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and senior railway officers are present at the scene. According to ASP K Sidhant said that the fire broke out in the last compartment and the rest of the compartments were saved.
