Stock market today: Sensex, Nifty trade flat; Tata Motors climbs 6 per cent, Paytm plunges 10 per cent

The Sensex declined 24.99 points to 0.03 percent, closing at 72,060.64, while the Nifty showed no change, remaining at 21,853.80. About 1,889 shares advanced, 719 shares declined, and 148 shares remained unchanged.
Major gainers on the Nifty included Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, Britannia, Eicher Motors, and Cipla. On the flip side, UPL, SBI, ONGC, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank were among the major losers for the day.
