Encounter breaks out in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag, security forces officers injured

An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Kokernag area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday. According to reports, one or two terrorists are said to be trapped in the area.
According to Kashmir Zone Police, officers from the Army and Police have sustained injury during the encounter. “Encounter has started in Kokernag area of Anantnag. Officers from the Army and JKP injured. Details shall follow,” it wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
