Blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, at least four injured | Video

Bengaluru: At least four people have been injured after a blast occured at The Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru’s Rajajinagar near Whitefield area, ITPL road on Friday.
The reason for the explosion is yet to be ascertained. The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
A video has surfaced showing the blast site near The Rameshwaram Cafe. Police and fire department officials were present in the area to assess the situation.
Among those injured, three of them are reported to be cafe’s employees.
The entire area has been cordoned off while fire tenders were seen parked outside the cafe. As per reports so far, there was no harm to any nearby building or establishment.
“We received a call that a cylinder blast occurred in the Rameshawaram cafe. We reached the spot and we are analysing the situation,” Whitefield fire station said in a statement.
The Rameshwaram Cafe is a popular eatery in Bengaluru.
