Naidu, who had been described as Ratan Tata’s “shadow” in his final years, expressed his excitement about stepping into the position of General Manager, Head of Strategic Initiatives at Tata Motors, a company that holds deep personal significance for him.
Reflecting on his connection to Tata Motors, Naidu shared a touching memory from his childhood: “I remember when my father used to walk home from the Tata Motors plant, in his white shirt and navy pants, and I would wait for him in the window. It comes full circle now.” Along with his heartfelt words, he posted a photo of himself with the iconic Tata Nano, a car that symbolizes Ratan Tata’s vision for affordable mobility in India.
This new chapter in Naidu’s life is deeply emotional, as it marks the continuation of his professional journey at the company that has been a part of his family’s history. A graduate of Savitribai Phule Pune University and Cornell University, Naidu joined Tata’s team in 2018, first as his assistant.
