How to check if your PAN card is active or not?
- First have to visit the Income Tax Department’s website
- Then choose the option ‘Know your PAN’ which is present on the left side of the webpage.
- On next page opens, individuals will have to fill in the necessary details which includes their name, age, gender, date of birth, status, registered mobile number and then click on ‘submit’.
- After this, to the individual’s’ mobile number, an OTP or One Time Password will be sent. This OTP will have to be provided.
- After this, the PAN card status will be displayed.
