The 36th match of the Big Bash League 2025 was interrupted by a fire at The Gabba on Thursday, January 16. The fire extinguisher was spotted trying to put off the fire at the DJ booth and then the stewards ordered an evacuation from the nearby stands at the iconic stadium in Brisbane.
The ground staff was quick to take control of the situation by preventing the fire from spreading and the game between Hobart Hurricanes and Brisbane Heat was resumed without any serious incident.
