Gujarat: All 23 gates of Sardar Sarovar Dam opened in view of heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh

Gujarat: In view of heavy rains, all the 23 gates of the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat’s Narmada district have been opened up to 9 meters.

Meanwhile, water is contineously being released from Indira Sagar Dam in Madhya Pradesh also in view of the increased rain activity.

In order to maintain the rule level, around 15 lakh Cusecs of water is being released.

Also, people residing on the downstream areas near river banks in Narmada, Vadodara and Bharuch districts have been alerted in view of heavy rainfall.
