Parliament Winter Session 2024: Proceedings both Houses were adjourned for the second consecutive day amid opposition protests over the Adani controversy and violence in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal. Opposition members trooped to the Well of the Lok Sabha raising slogans as soon as the House met again at 12 noon. The Opposition members wanted to discuss the Adani controversy and the recent violence in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal. The ruckus left no room for meaningful discussions, leading to multiple adjournments before the final suspension of proceedings for the day. Both Houses will meet again on Thursday at 11 am.
