If you are traveling to Prayagraj for the last Amrit Snan at Triveni Sangam during Maha Shivratri, this information is important for you. In view of anticipated heavy passenger rush, the Indian Railways has taken a decision to cancel 174 trains during the Amrit Snan days. Out of these, 32 trains between February 25 and February 28 have been canceled, including scheduled trains and Kumbh Special trains via Dhanbad, Gomoh, and Bokaro.
Ticket bookings halted for major trains
Railways has cancelled ticket bookings for a number of major trains, such as Purushottam Express, Nandan Kanan Express, and Kalka-Howrah Netaji Express between February 25 to 28. Although bookings for other trains are available, they too might be closed in the next few days.
