India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection rose by 7.3 per cent in December 2024, touching Rs 1.77 lakh crore, as per government data released on Tuesday. This marks a steady increase in the country’s tax revenues, reflecting robust economic activity and improved compliance measures.
