Swara mocks ‘Boycott gang’ over Pathaan BO
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan has created history by becoming the first Hindi movie to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The Siddharth Anand directorial has grossed Rs 623 crore in India and Rs 377 crore overseas, despite several protests and boycott calls on social media. Swara Bhasker has now taken a brutal dig at the boycott gang over the film’s collection.
“Boycott gang, Haggaa, Gems of Bollywood etc. ko Badhaaii,” Swara tweeted while quoting YRF’s tweet on Pathaan breaching the Rs 1000 crore mark in phase one of its release.

Previously, Aamir Khan’s Dangal has earned earned over Rs 700 crore in phase one of the release. The film had crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark in worldwide gross in its second phase after it was released in China. The movie’s total collection stands a reported mark of Rs 2000 crore.
Apart from Pathaan and Dangal, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, RRR and KGF Chapter 2 have also crossed Rs 1000 crore mark at global box office.
Pathaan marks SRK‘s first big screen release as a lead in over four years after Zero (2018). The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead along with Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.
