After the huge success of ‘Pathaan’, director Sidharth Anand is back to the shoot of ‘Fighter’ starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. Siddharth and Hrithik team up again after ‘WAR’, and seemingly the director wants to raise the bar further, this time around.
In a recent interview Siddharth has revealed that while ‘Fighter’ is packed with a lot of action, Deepika is giving a ‘real good takkar’ to Hrithik. The actress plays an Air Force Officer in ‘Fighter’ and is a part of the elite unit of the Air Force. Her character is well-researched to make it authentic. Deepika’s character is giving a good competition to Hrithik’s character and she is so much fun on the sets, revealed Anand in an interview with India Today.
On that note, one remembers that at a media event for ‘Pathaan’, SRK had joked that Deepika is the real fighter in ‘Fighter’ while Hrithik is actually just romancing her. Having said that, Hrithik has worked tremendously hard on his physique afor the action in the film. He keeps sharing his fitness videos on Instagram which serves a lot of inspiration to fans.
‘Fighter’ is set to release in January 2024. The film also stars Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
