Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to tie the knot this month. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the same as yet.
Now, Alia’s ‘Shaandaar’ co-star Shahid Kapoor has reacted to the reports of their wedding. The actor told a news portal that he will refrain from commenting on the same as there has been no official announcement. According to him, till the time it is media speculation, it is a speculation.
Meanwhile, preparations for the big Bollywood wedding have already begun. According to a Bombay Times report, Ranbir has booked a banquet hall at his residential complex. A source told BT that smaller get-togethers will be held there. Ranbir has assured the building committee that he won’t have more than 15 people at a time on any given day. Ranbir and Alia will tie the knot as per the traditional Punjabi way. Reportedly, the couple will throw a reception for their industry friends in the last week of April.
On the professional front too, the couple will be sharing the screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in lead roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
Shahid, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, ‘Jersey’ which will release on April 14. The film will lock horns with none other than the Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ at the box office. Source
