Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in an interview confirmed that his sister Arpita Khan Sharma had tested positive for COVID-19. The actor made the news public at a press conference for his upcoming film ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’.
Now, Aprita took to Instagram to clarify that she had tested positive in April this year and is doing fine now. In the post, she wrote, “I tested positive for COVID-19 in the beginning of the month of April 2021, however, I was asymptomatic. I followed all the guidelines and protocols and thankfully with the grace of God I have fully recovered and have been well since. ”

Amidst the second wave, Salman has been doing his bit to spread awareness and has also been reaching out to people in need. The actor has been providing rations for the needy and offering monetary assistance to daily wage workers in the film industry. He also arranged food boxes to be delivered to frontline workers amidst the second wave.
The star also won hearts when he recently offered assistance to an 18-year-old boy from Karnataka who sought financial help after his father succumbed to COVID-19. The star didn’t just provide the boy with ration and educational equipment but also assured him that he will be there for him and provide whatever is needed for his betterment.
Apart from that, Salman also took on initiatives to provide food, medical equipment and oxygen cylinders to frontline workers including BMC, doctors and police personnel across the city. Source
