Randhir Kapoor is currently in the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital since April 29 as he had contracted COVID. The senior actor-director was first admitted in a room and later shifted to the ICU. Post that, there has been no health update from him so far. ETimes has learnt that Randhir is stable and recuperating well.
Talking to ETimes this morning, Randhir, who tested positive for the virus after bouts of shivering, informed that he has improved well and should be out of the hospital, shortly. “I am recovering well and should be home soon,” he said.
During his stay at the hospital, Randhir has not required any oxygen support. “I was never breathless. I just had fever,” he revealed.
Randhir replied in the affirmative when we discussed that Kareena, Karisma and Babita must be calling up frequently in concern.
Randhir’s five staff members, who were admitted along with him, as they too had been infected with Covid-19, are also feeling much better.
