Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly getting married this week in an intimate wedding ceremony with only close friends and family in Mumbai at their home. We got our hands on an old interview of Neetu Kapoor with a news portal where she revealed why she feels Ranbir will be a good husband.
According to Neetu, she was very troubled in her married life with Rishi Kapoor. She revealed that when the young actor was 15 or so, Rishi and she went through a really bad patch. Neetu has always felt that while her daughter should be innocent and learn to face life as it comes, her son should be street smart and know everything about life. So she would sit with Ranbir and talk to him. For hours, the veteran actress would tell him all she felt was right and wrong with her marriage, and try to explain it all to him.
Neetu further told Quint in the interview that Ranbir was her best friend then, her only confidant. She would talk her heart out to him, as to no one else. According to her, Ranbir changed then as he suddenly became responsible, grown up. The actress also added that she felt he should know everything as according to her, it would make him a good husband when the time comes.
Showering praise on her boy, Neetu went on to say that Ranbir is too soft and can’t hurt anybody. According to her, he is a ‘daal chawal sort of boy’ and said that he is not very high maintenance. She also further added that her son would not appreciate a ‘high maintenance wife’. Source
