After an FIR against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister, Rangoli Chandel has been filed for allegedly instigating communal tension through social media posts and public statements, Mumbai police have now summoned the Ranaut sisters to appear before them in the next week by November 10.
“Mumbai Police summons actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli to be present before it on November 10. The summons pertain to an FIR registered against them after court orders on allegations that they tried to create a divide between communities through social media posts,” quoted ANI.
Earlier, reacting to the same, Kangana had tweeted, “Who all are fasting on Navratris? Pictures clicked from today’s celebrations as I am also fasting, meanwhile, another FIR filed against me, Pappu sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing over me, don’t miss me so much I will be there soon ❤️#navratri”
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut and her sister had reportedly sought time until November 15 to appear before the cops in connection with another FIR lodged against them with sedition charges.
