Owing to the restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, the Aggarwal family had to subdue the pre-wedding rituals. The traditional haldi, mehendi and chunni ceremonies were hosted at Kajal’s Mumbai residence on October 29, a day before the wedding. Punjabi dhol and impromptu dancing accompanied the festivity. Kajal Aggarwal and Gautam Kitchlu reportedly had a wedding that incorporated rituals from both their families, as Kajal’s family is Punjabi while Gautam’s is a half-Punjabi and half-Kashmiri. While several guests joined in the wedding festivity through a virtual medium, close ones were seen in attendance at the lavish wedding hosted at a five star in South Mumbai.
