‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen was released on May 6, 2022. Now, according to the BoxOfficeIndia report, the film has collected 3.25 crore on its second Friday. This is a huge drop compared to its first Friday collections.
The superhero flick is doing better than Ranveer Singh‘s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ except in the states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh where Singh’s social drama is on the lead. The total earnings of ‘Doctor Strange’ is Rs 106 crore nett. The report also stated that the second Friday collections display that the film will cross Rs 125 nett crore mark.
‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ picks up after the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and sees Dr Strange open a rift in the multiverse while trying to help Tom Holland‘s, Peter Parker.
Helmed by Sam Raimi, the film also features Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez and Michael Stuhlbarg. The film is a part of Phase Four of the MCU.
