Bollywood star Alia Bhatt stepped out of her residential complex on Sunday, as preparation finally kicked off for her wedding to Ranbir Kapoor.
The actress, who is set to tie the knot with the man of her dreams in the coming days, stepped out in a casual tee and messy hair. The bride-to-be, however, was clicked in a rather serious mood as she zoomed off, away from the paparazzi stationed outside her residence.
This is her first public spotting since news of her wedding to Ranbir was confirmed.
Contrary to common belief that the actress was rushing to do some last-minute prep for her big day, our paparazzi confirmed that the star was in fact heading off for a shoot in Karjat. Both Ranbir and Alia have been juggling their work commitments while also prepping for their big day on the sidelines.
On Saturday, we spotted RK at the studios, shooting a song sequence for his next film with Shraddha Kapoor. Alia, on the other hand, is reportedly gearing up to fly to the USA to film her debut Hollywood film.
Early in the day, the actress took to her Instagram stories to share a set of “love posters” of her upcoming romantic song “Kesariya” from ‘Brahmastra’. The poster sees the couple locked in a passionate embrace.
Ranbir and Alia, will take the plunge in the presence of family and friends this week. However, there has been no official confirmation from the couple’s side yet.
While Alia’s brother Rahul Bhatt has confirmed that the actress will wed her superstar boyfriend, he refused to reveal details about the big day. Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor also expressed her excitement about the upcoming nuptials. In an interview with Bombay Times, she said, “I would like to celebrate and say it out loud, but kids today are different. Both of them are private people. Kab kar lenge pata nahi, but hogi zaroor and I wish jaldi ho jaaye because I love them both.”
While reports state that Ranbir and Alia will wed in Krishna Raj bungalow, new reports claim that the wedding will take place at Kapoor’s pad at Vastu, Bandra. As the wedding will be a low-key and intimate affair, only 45-50 guests will be in attendance, including some close friends. The actors will reportedly tie the knot in a small and intimate house wedding. Those attending will have to comply with a no-phone policy.
Meanwhile, prep is on in full swing at both Krishna Raj Bungalow and Ranbir’s house. Our cameras spotted decorators at the actor’s residential complex, getting it ready for the celebrations that kick off on April 13.
