Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder on Thursday. The actor suffered 6 injuries as he was stabbed with a knife. The CCTV captured two suspected and out of them one has been identified by the Mumbai Police. Now the image of the suspected accused has gone viral.
Saif has been shifted to ICU
Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen in Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor‘s starrer Devara: Part 1, was attacked on Thursday night. According to Mumbai Police, an intruder entered Saif’s Mumbai residence on January 16. After a scuffle with the accused, the actor was injured with a knife. At 3:00 am, Saif was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. The hospital revealed that the actor was stabbed 6 times with the knife, and two injuries out of these were said to be serious.
After surgires, Saif was shifted to ICU, where his friends and family including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt among others visited him.
What did the police say?
Mumbai Police has spotted 2 suspects in the CCTV camera. Out of them, one has been identified and now his image has also gone viral. Police sources said that the suspect came to Saif Ali Khan’s building by jumping from the adjacent building. He entered the house with the help of stairs. Police saw in CCTV footage that an unknown person entered Saif’s building from the compound of another building. DCP also said that 18 teams have been formed for this investigation. Police also said that the knife used in the crime is broken.
It is significant to note that Saif Ali Khan was stabbed at Bandra home, had a back injury, knife removed to stop leaking spinal fluid.
