Chinese consumer electronics giant Xiaomi recently introduced a new version of its electric scooter which it states is the most powerful yet. Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro features a 700W rated motor capable of 25 km/h max speed. With a 12,400 mAh capacity, it’s capable of a riding range of up to 45 km per charge and is capable of climbing up 20% inclines.
The company states that the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro’s body is built with aerospace-grade aluminum which is lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant. The scooter is fitted with 10” tubeless self-sealing tyres, which are designed to make the scooter tires puncture-resistant with Xiaomi DuraGel and more durable over rough roads.
Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro is larger in size than its predecessor making it capable of supporting more weight and improving standing comfort. Additionally, it now gets a magnetic charging port and lid that ensure the charger is secure while plugged in. It offers three ride modes for three speeds – 0-6 km/h for walking pace, 0-20 km/h, and 0-25 km/h.
Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro is the first scooter device which gain loT Security Rating Level 3 (Gold) certification. There is a unique QR code in each device that only belongs to the owner providing another layer of security for authentication. Users can connect the scooter to Xiaomi Home App via Bluetooth to check information like vehicle status, battery info, mileage, control the lights, lock the motor, upgrade firmware and more.
The kick scooter comes with a front eABS and rear dual-pad disc brake system. The user interface on Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro has also been upgraded with a new instrument panel. The Electric Scooter 4 Pro will be available at €649 (approximately Rs 53,000) via Xiaomi’s official channels in international markets.
