Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive will be launching its F77 electric bike tomorrow in India. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the production and launch of the bike was delayed. Recently, the company has organized a test ride for the bike for India Aviation community members.
Ultraviolette F77 Bookings
The Ultraviolette F77 bookings have already commenced from October 23 at a token amount of Rs 10,000. Expected to be available in multiple variants, the electric motorcycle will be launched in Bengaluru city primarily.
Ultraviolette F77 Powertrain and Range
The company has revealed the F77 electric sport bike will make use of a 10.5 kWh battery pack, offering an IDC range of up to 307 km (top-spec variant). Upon launch, it will be the highest range e bike in India. The motor will churn a peak power of 25 kW and max torque of 90 Nm, offering a claimed top speed of 147 kmph.
The chassis of the electric bike is reworked, and it gets a monoshock and inverted fork setup along with front and rear disc brakes. The kerb weight of the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike is likely to be around 190 kg.

Ultraviolette F77 Expected Price
The Ultraviolette F77 is likely to be offered in three variants, namely Shadow, Airstrike and Laser. In terms of pricing, the electric motorcycle will be priced between Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 4 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom) in the Indian market. With such pricing, the F77 electric bike will rival the likes of the Revolt RV 400, Tork Kratos, Hop Oxo and the Oben Rorr once launched.
