Odisha-based EV manufacturer, Shema Electric today unveiled its three high-speed electric scooters, namely Eagle Plus, Gryphon and Tuff Plus at EV India Expo 2022. These newly unveiled e-scooters are expected to be officially launched by mid-October this year. The electric scooters will be available with a 3-year/60,000 km standard warranty.
Shema Eagle Plus
The Shema Eagle Plus high-speed electric scooter was unveiled in a glossy black colour option. The brand claims that the e-scooter offers a range of 120 km on a single full charge and has a top speed of 50 kmph. Powering the Eagle Plus is a 3.2 kWh lithium-ion battery and 1200 Watt BLDC motor. The battery can be charged from 0-100 in 3.5-4 hours. The e-scooter has a loading capacity of 180 kg.
Second e-scooter unveiled by the brand is the Shema Gryphon that offers a top speed of 60 kmph. In terms of range, it covers a distance of 130 km on a single charge. At the heart, the Gryphon electric scooter makes use of a 4.1 kWh lithium-ion battery and 1500 Watt BLDC motor. It takes around 3.5-4 hours to fully charge the battery. The Gryphon has a loading capacity of 180 kg.
Shema Tuff Plus
The brand’s third electric scooter unveiled at the EV India Expo 2022 is Tuff Plus. This high-speed electric scooter offers a top speed of 60 kmph and a range of 130 km on a single full charge. The e-scooter is powered by a 4 kWh LFP battery and a 1500 Watt BLDC motor. The scooter’s battery can be completely charged in 3.5 to 4 hours. It has a loading capacity of 200 kg.
Currently, Shema Electric has five low-speed products in its portfolio. The brand has a network of 40 dealerships in India, marking its presence in 4 states across the country.
