Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Ola Electric recently reintroduced the Gerua Edition for the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in the Indian market. Moreover, the company also introduced five new colour options, including Marshmallow, Millennial Pink, Anthracite Grey, Midnight Blue and Matt Black for the Ola S1 variant.
“Ola’s rise to the top of the chart has been achieved by making EVs desirable, accessible and affordable to customers. Based on the feedback from our community, we are bringing back the ‘Gerua’ edition to both our variants and are also making Ola S1 available in all 11 colour palettes, which make our scooters an even more exciting proposition,” says Anshul Khandelwal, CMO, Ola Electric.
The Indian EV manufacturer reported a sales of 25,000 units in December 2022. The cumulative sales of Ola Electric surpassed 1,50,000 units in 2022. The company also expanded its D2C footprint with over 100 new experience centers and launched 3 software updates in one year, with the Over-the-Air (OTA) roll-out of MoveOS 3 to over 1 lakh customers.
Ola Move OS 3 update offers 50+ features in the Ola electric scooters. Other major upgrades in the Ola e scooters include Hypercharger network across 27 states in India and party mode.
Ola S1 Pro Review: Great progress but not glitch free yet
The Ola S1 electric scooter makes use of a 2.9 kWh battery that offers a claimed range of 121 km, while the S1 Pro e scooter is powered by a 4 kWh battery, providing an IDC-certified range of 181 km. Both electric scooters churns out a peak power of 8.5 kW.
