Officially confirmed: Tata Harrier, Safari, Nexon Red Dark Editions launch tomorrow
Tata Motors is all set to introduce the Red Dark Editions of its popular SUVs tomorrow on February 22, 2023. After releasing a slew of teasers, the Indian car manufacturer has officially confirmed the launch of Red Dark Editions of the Harrier, Safari and Nexon on its social media handles. Here is everything you need to know about them.
Tata Harrier, Safari, Nexon Red Dark Editions: What to expect?
The company recently showcased the Red Dark Editions of the Harrier, Safari and Nexon at the Auto Expo 2023. All these Tata cars will come equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, ADAS, a digital instrument cluster, ADAS and six airbags. The higher-spec variants of the Tata Harrier and the Safari will get these features.
Tata Harrier, Safari, Nexon Red Dark Editions: Engine
Under the hood, the Tata Harrier, Safari and Nexon Red Dark Editions will remain unchanged. Speaking of the Tata Harrier and Safari, both the SUVs will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 170 bhp power and comes paired with a six-speed manual and automatic transmission. On the contrary, the Tata Nexon will make use of a 108 bhp 1.2-litre diesel engine and a 118 bhp 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. A 6-speed MT/AMT will be on offer.

Tata Harrier, Safari, Nexon Red Dark Editions: Expected price
Currently, the Tata Nexon retails from Rs 7.80 lakh to Rs 14.30 lakh. The Tata Harrier is priced at Rs 14.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 22.60 lakh. The Tata Safari costs Rs 15.65 lakh to Rs 24.01 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). We expect the Red Dark Editions of all these Tata SUVs to be slightly expensive over the current trims.
