Land Rover is all ready to showcase the 8-seater version of the Defender globally. The brand has revealed an image of the new Land Rover Defender 130 with some technical information and debut date. The Defender 130 will mark its global debut on 31st May 2022, and its deliveries will begin from the same date.
The 4X4 Land Rover Defender 130 will join the three-door 90 and five-door 110 versions. The brand has not provided much information about the five-door Defender 130, however an official release mentions that the Defender 130 will have three row seating according to the 2-3-3 scheme. With that being said, the Defender 130 will get new three seats in the rear loading compartment despite two seats available in seven-seater Defender 110.
After the Defender 90 and 110, the Defender range will be carried forward by the upcoming 8-seater Defender 130. As of now, no details are available about the engine specs and features of the new Land Rover Defender 130. Though, we expect it to come with the mild-hybrid petrol and diesel powertrains as well as in plug-in hybrid option. A V8 too that will offer powerful performance to share with eight occupants.
