Meet Gaurav Malpani, a young inventor who has converted his Suzuki Access scooter into an emergency response vehicle to help in situations where fire tenders and other large vehicles cannot reach in time.
The Madhya Pradesh youth, runs an electrical components business in Ujjain and is known by the locals for his contraptions. For his latest project, Malpani decided to develop a portable solution for a wide variety of problems that emergency personnel face on a daily basis and this is the result.
Malpani took his Suzuki access scooter and modified it to accommodate over 75 emergency solutions. The scooter gets a fire extinguisher, water hose powered by an electrical pump, DC power point that can power an emergency bulb, charge devices and aid in other scenarios.
The scooter even comes with a water bottle and a fan to help people who might get overwhelmed in a dangerous sotuation. It is Malpani’s ambition to perfect his emergency scooter design to an extent where it can be seen as a viable alternative by emergency personnel for extending services to those living in heavily populated areas.
The scooter isn’t Malpani’s first innovation, during the recent Covid era, he developed an automatic hand sanitiser dispenser based on an AC compressor, he also received praise for planting about 25,000 saplings in just 80 weeks. The young innovator hopes to help people and the public administration with his latest project.
