NEW DELHI: Mini India on Thursday launched the all-new Mini John Cooper Works GP Inspired Edition. The exclusive hatchback will be limited to 15 units and will be brought to India via the CBU route.
The Mini JCW GP Inspired Edition starts at Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in the exclusive racing grey metallic colour scheme.
The all-new Mini JCW GP Inspired Edition pays a tribute to the original JCW GP hatchback and borrows most of its authentic racetrack flair and brings it to the roads. The hatchback gets bold racing-inspired looks and gets the finest quality materials along with the new visual enhancements.
The Mini JCW GP Inspired Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine. The powerful engine manages to churn out 234 PS of power and offers a peak torque of 320 Nm. Paired to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, the hatch can clock 0-100 kmph in 6.1 seconds. The hatch also features three driving modes- Mid, Sport, and Green.
The Mini JCW GP Inspired Edition offers pure racing elements inside-out. The hatchback comes with JCW Sports Seats in leather finish with GP badging. The GP logo is also featured on both the front floor mats. The steering wheel is crafted in leather with red stitching. The highlight is the 3D-printed paddle shifts with a distinctive GP badging. The panorama glass roof also accentuates the aesthetics of the cabin.
The high-performance hatchback features an iconic circular central panel with a 6.5-inch bright infotainment display. The infotainment features include navigation, Radio Mini visual boost, Harman Kardon Hi-Fi audio system with 12-speakers, and 8-channel digital amplifiers to enhance the in-cabin experience.
