Maruti Suzuki recently announced that it has hiked the Ertiga MPV ex-showroom price by Rs 6,000 in the Indian market. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV will now cost Rs 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) with immediate effect, said the company in a stock regulatory filing.
The company said, “There is an Ex-Showroom price increase of INR 6,000/- in all the existing variants of Ertiga. The Ertiga will now have a starting Ex-showroom price of INR 8,41,000/- (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).”
Apart from the price hike, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has also received a few standard features, such as Hill Hold Assist and ESP. Earlier, these features were only available in top-spec variants – ZXi+ MT and AT.
At the front, the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG comes equipped with a new chrome-finished grille, 15-inch alloy wheels and fog lamps. The rear is flanked by rear wiper/washer and LED tail-lamp.
Inside, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG has received a push start/stop button, refreshed seat upholstery and a new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other updates include a coloured TFT MID screen showing the CNG-to-fuel ratio.
Powering the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG is a 1.5-litre K15C dualjet petrol engine that produces 87 hp. In the petrol mode, it generates 100 hp power. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga starts off in petrol mode and switches to CNG once the engine reaches ideal temperature. The MPV CNG mode accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 15.5 seconds, while in petrol mode it sprints from 0-100 kmph in 13.9 seconds. Maruti Suzuki claims that the new Ertiga CNG offers a fuel efficiency of 26.11 km/kg.
