

LML is set to make a comeback and it’ll be an all-electric comeback. The first two-wheeler to roll out from the house of LML Emotion will be the LML Star electric scooter which is 2023 Auto Expo-bound. But before that, LML have announced that the scooter will debut tomorrow, i.e. the 6th of January 2023 at the GICW (Gurugram International Couture Week) which will be held from the 6th to 8th of January.
When the company announced its return, three e-scooters were unveiled, namely LML Orion, Moonshot, and Star. The Star is expected to go into production, followed by launch sometime this year.
The Star electric scooter gets a futuristic design with a dual-tone theme and an LED projector headlamp with DRLs. The scooter gets a digital instrument cluster, dual disc brakes, telescopic fork front suspension with a monoshock at the rear, ride modes, reverse mode, TPMS, and more.

The technical specifications of the scooter remain under wraps. That said, it is speculated to offer a top speed of 100 kph and up to 120 km of range on one full charge.
The electric scooter is expected to be priced starting at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the LML Star will compete with Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ola S1, Vida V1, Simple one, and Ather 450X.
After a long hiatus from the India market, LML has invested some Rs 500 crore in a new EV production facility. The company states that it will take the existing electric two-wheeler in the market with its tech-enabled solutions. The company aims to establish a 100-dealership network across the country soon. The Star will be followed by the Moonshot electric motorcycle and Orion electric bike.
