After returning from the England tour, Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami has brought home a Jaguar F-Type sports car. In the tournament, the Indian player became the joint-third fastest bowler to take 150 wickets in ODI history.
According to the media reports, the cricketer has purchased the 2.0-Coupe R-Dynamic variant of the Jaguar F-Type worth Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom). Inside the cabin, the two-seater coupe features leather upholstery, JLR’s latest connectivity suite, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and more.
Featuring a Caldera Red exterior colour, the cricketer’s Jaguar F-Type is a two-seater coupe, powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates a peak power of 295 hp and a max torque of 400 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 8-speed ZF transmission.
Safety suite of the cricketer’s Jaguar F-Type consists of Blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, Hill Start Assist Control, Lane Change Assist and Driver Attention. Some other safety features include Warning Vehicle Stability Management, Forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist.
Apart from the sports car, the Indian cricketer has recently purchased the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 at a price of Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). The Made-in-India motorcycle makes use of a 649cc twin-cylinder engine, generating 47 hp@7,150 rpm and 52 Nm@5,250 rpm.
