2. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R S-CNG – 34.05 km/kg
The Maruti Suzuki is offered with two engine options – a 1.0-litre three-cylinder unit and a 1.2-litre four-cylinder unit, however, the CNG kit is offered with the former only. The Wagon R CNG is offered in LXI and VXI variants, priced at Rs 6.42 lakh and Rs 6.86 lakh (ex-showroom). The CNG version of the tallboy returns a mileage of 34.05 km/kg.

Available in a single VXI variant priced at Rs 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the Alto K10 S-CNG gets the same 1.0-litre NA petrol engine as the aforementioned Wagon R CNG and Celerio CNG. Maruti Suzuki claims that the Alto K10 returns a mileage of 33.85 km/kg.
4. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso S-CNG – 32.73 km/kg
The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG is priced from Rs 5.90 lakh (ex-showroom), and gets the same petrol-CNG powertrain as three cars mentioned before it on this list. The S-Presso CNG has a claimed fuel efficiency of 32.73 km/kg.
5. Maruti Suzuki Alto S-CNG – 31.59 km/kg
The Alto 800 CNG is the only Maruti Suzuki car on this list to not be offered with the company’s 1.0-litre K10C petrol engine. Instead, it gets a smaller 796 cc unit that belts out 41 PS power and 60 Nm torque, and is offered with a 5-speed MT. The Alto CNG offers a mileage of 31.59 km/kg.

Tata Tiago NRG iCNG – 26.49 km/kg
Tata recently launched the CNG version of the Tiago NRG in India at a base price of Rs 7.4 lakh (ex-showroom). The factory-fit CNG kit is offered with two variants of the Tiago NRG, i.e XT and XZ.
