

BMW Motorrad India today announced the introduction of a rider academy exclusively for BMW G 310 R owners. The BMW Rider Academy will offer G 310 R riders curated training sessions to hone their riding skills under expert guidance. The manufacturer will be hosting a one-day ride experience where riders will undergo comprehensive training.
The training will include basics like familiarity with the bike, understanding the correct rider position and also throttle control, vision, and steering. The training will further include exercises for emergency braking and riding on the track.
Registration for the BMW G 310 R Rider Academy can be made by contacting the nearest authourised BMW Motorrad dealership. The company underlines a set of regulations that participants would have to comply with.
• Participants are required to hold a valid driver’s license (at the time of the event).
• Only applicable for BMW Motorrad G 310 R owners
• The customers can participate only on their motorcycle and will undergo scrutiny to check the fitness of the motorcycle
The G 310 R is a product of BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company collaboration. This engine and platform has spawned three motorcycles that include the R, G 310 GS and the TVS Apache RR 310. It is powered by a 313cc single-cylinder engine that makes 34 hp and 28 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle claims a top speed of 143 km/h and a fuel efficiency of 30 kmpl (ARAI). Sold in three colour options – Style Sport, Cosmic Black, Style Passion, the G 310 R is priced at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
In related news, BMW Motorrad is set to launch the fully-faired version of the G 310 R. The 2022 BMW G 310 RR is due to launch on the 15th of July and will carry a premium on the price tag bringing close to Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom).
