BMW today launched the new M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition at a price of Rs 68.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. BMW India introduced this special edition as it celebrated the 50 years of BMW M.
The locally-produced BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition can be booked through the official website. The brand is offering a variety of service packages, ranging from 3-year/40,000 km to 10-year/2,00,000 km, covering maintenance and Condition Based Service.
Powering the BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition is a 2,998 cc straight-six petrol engine producing a peak power of 387 hp and a max torque of 500 Nm. Supporting a M Sport exhaust unit, the car sprints from 0-100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds, making it the quickest Made-in-India car.
Available in Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey, the BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre M Edition gets a large glossy-black kidney grille, LED headlights with BMW Laserlight, 19-inch M alloy wheels, mirror caps, wheel hub caps and 50 Jahre M roundel at the front and rear.

Coming to the interior, the luxury sedan receives a host of features, such as M-specific sports seats in Sensatec/Alcantara trim, M-leather steering wheel with shift paddles, Anthracite BMW Individual roof liner, Piano Black individual trim strips, M-specific seat belt, ambient lighting with 6 light designs and 3-zone automatic AC.
Some other key highlights of the sedan are Harman Kardon Surround sound system, BMW Connected Drive technologies, Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, BMW Head-Up Display, reversing assistant, BMW Efficient Dynamics and parking assistant with Rear View Camera.
