The trend that stood out in BMW car sales, was that the automaker’s X-series of SUVs (BMW X1, X3, X5, X7) saw an exponential growth of over 60 percent this year. The other demand-driving models were the BMW 3-Series, 5-series and 6-series. Meanwhile, high demand has led to a waiting period to reach up to 6 months for BMW vehicles.
On the two-wheeler front, BMW Motorrad’s 40.3 percent growth was driven by the single-cylinder BMW G 310 R, BMW G 310 RR and BMW G 310 GS models that commanded 90 percent of Motorrad sales.
