Yamaha Fascino and Ray ZR scooters are now getting slight cosmetic enhancements, new colour options, and new features and the company said that the scooters are now equipped with E20 fuel-compliant and OBD2-compliant engines. This technology helps track data vital to the engine’s health and performance in real time.

As mentioned previously, the scooters now get new colour schemes, the disc variant of Fascino and Ray ZR scooters will get Dark Matt Blue colour and the Ray ZR Street Rally will be available in two new colours – Matte Black & Light Grey Vermillion. The disc and drum variants of Ray ZR now get new graphics in their existing colours – Matt Red, Metallic Black and Cyan Blue.

Talking about the engine, as mentioned before the engines are now E20 and OBD2 compliant. Both scooters are powered by a 125 cc, single cylinder, oil-cooled petrol engine which puts out 8.2 PS of power and 10.3 Nm of torque. The engine also gets Smart Motor Generator (SMG) System which doubles up as an electric motor. The company says that this gives linear power when the rider accelerates from a stop, reducing the wobble during start-outs in tandem riding or uphill climbs. The scooters also feature Automatic Stop & Start system and built side stand engine cut-off switch.
