2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT and Interceptor GT launched: What’s new
Royal Enfield today announced the launch of new and updated 659 twins. The price for the Continental GT starts from Rs 3.19 lakh and the price for Interceptor starts from Re 3.03 lakh (both prices Ex-showroom). The Interceptor 650 will now be offered in four new colour options whereas the Continental GT 650 gets two new colours.
Talking about the new colour options. The Interceptor gets four new colour options, including two blacked-out variants – Black Ray, Barcelona Blue and a new custom dual colour way – Black Pearl and Cali Green. The Continental GT will get two new blacked-out versions – Slipstream Blue and Apex grey. These will be offered alongside Mr clean, Dux Deluxe, British racing green and Rocker red.
The Blacked out variants feature a blacked-out theme across the engine, alloy wheels, exhaust and side panels. The bikes also get LED headlights, USB charges, updated switchgear and alloy wheels. It should be noted that the alloy wheels are only offered with only blacked-out variants.
It is expected that Royal Enfield might soon launch alloy wheels with other colour variants. The new LED headlights seem to be borrowed from the newly launched Super Meteor and components like USB chargers and switchgear seems to be borrowed from Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
