Maruti Suzuki recently updated the Ciaz for the 2023 model year, introducing more standard safety features and new dual-tone paint schemes. The new safety features that are standard with the sedan include ESP and Hill-Hold Assist, which were only offered with the automatic variants prior to the update. That said, the Ciaz continues as the company’s flagship sedan offering in India, being retailed through the premium Nexa dealerships.
Planning to buy the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and wondering how much EMI would you have to pay? Here’s a table showing the variant-wise on-road (Delhi) price of the sedan, and the lowest monthly installment you would have to shell out for it, keeping in mind an average tenure, ROI, as well as down payment –
Variant | On-road price (Delhi) |
Interest rate | Tenure | Down payment | EMI |
Sigma | Rs 10.27 lakh | 10% | 5 years | Rs 1 lakh | Rs 19,688 |
Delta | Rs 10.96 lakh | 10% | 5 years | Rs 1.10 lakh | Rs 20,956 |
Zeta | Rs 11.76 lakh | 10% | 5 years | Rs 1.18 lakh | Rs 22,487 |
Alpha | Rs 12.67 lakh | 10% | 5 years | Rs 1.27 lakh | Rs 24,213 |
Delta AT | Rs 12.72 lakh | 10% | 5 years | Rs 1.27 lakh | Rs 24,332 |
S | Rs 12.79 lakh | 10% | 5 years | Rs 1.28 lakh | Rs 24,448 |
Zeta AT | Rs 13.13 lakh | 10% | 5 years | Rs 1.31 lakh | Rs 25,105 |
Alpha AT | Rs 14.03 lakh | 10% | 5 years | Rs 1.40 lakh | Rs 26,830 |
To make it easier for you, we have chosen an average tenure period of 5 years as standard, along with approximately 10% down payment amount, and an estimated 10% bank interest rate. Do note that the buyer is free to decide the tenure for which he/she will be taking the loan for, whereas the interest rate varies from one bank to another. Moreover, you can also choose to pay a higher or a lower down payment, which will decrease or increase your equated monthly installment (EMI) respectively.

Maruti Suzuki retails the 2023 Ciaz in India at a starting price of Rs 9.20 lakh for the entry-level Sigma variant, going all the way up to Rs 12.19 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the range-topping Alpha AT model. However, the on-road (Delhi) price of the Maruti sedan currently ranges between Rs 10.27 lakh and Rs 14.03 lakh.
For example, let’s assume you decide on purchasing the Delta AT variant of the Maruti Suzuki sedan, which currently has an ex-showroom price of Rs 11.04 lakh. If you pay Rs 1.27 lakh as down payment out of the Rs 12.72 lakh on-road (Delhi) price, you would end up paying about Rs 24,332 as EMI for a period of 60 months (5 years) against a total loan amount of Rs 11.45 lakh. At the end of the tenure, you would have paid Rs 14.60 lakh for the sedan over and above the down payment.
