Mercedes-Benz India is all set to launch the AMG E53 Cabriolet 4MATIC+ on January 6. The german automaker is bringing the luxury-performance cabriolet as its first-launch in 2023 for India, it is due to be unveiled at the third annual press conference event of Mercedes-Benz. The car will be inaugurated by the new managing director and CEO, Santosh Iyer, at the conference. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming 2023 AMG E53 Cabriolet 4MATIC+.
The AMG E53 Cabriolet offers both the luxury of a convertible and performance of a sports car. It gets a 3-litre, six cylinder engine which produces 429 hp and 520 Nm of torque, power is delivered to all four wheels thanks to the 4MATIC+ system. This propels the AMG E53 Cabriolet from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds. The power is delivered via the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TVT 9G double-clutch transmission with nine gears. Being an AMG, the exterior of the E53 Cabriolet gets design changes such as a new front bumper, new alloy wheels and a lip spoiler at the back. In other news, the head lamps and tail lamps have been redesigned in the 2023 model as well.

Inside, the 2023 AMG E53 Cabriolet gets a fully digital cockpit and the flat-bottom AMG Performance steering wheel. The leather upholstery is finished in a dual-tone black and brown colour scheme and a number of AMG performance systems such as the TRACK PACE, AMG steering buttons and the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS driving mode. The car also gets the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension, which has been tuned to deliver sporty performance. The Cabriolet futher gets an exhaust gas turbocharger and a 48V mild-hybrid system to keep efficiency matters in check.
While price details for India will be disclosed tomorrow, the AMG E53 Cabriolet 4MATIC+, currently retails at USD 92,550 or Rs 76.63 lakhs approximately in international markets.
