NEW DELHI: TVS Motor Company on Wednesday launched the 2021 Apache RTR 200 4V. The new version of the motorcycle celebrates the Apache brand’s 4 million sales milestone, which was achieved quite recently.
2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V starts at Rs 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom) for the standard dual-channel ABS variant. The new version costs around Rs 9,000 dearer than the previous version.
The new Apache RTR 200 4V will feature 3 riding modes- Sport, Urban, Rain- that can adapt to any kind of driving conditions and can be switched within no time. The new offering also comes with a few first in segment features like adjustable front suspension and adjustable levers. The 2021 RTR 200 4V also features an enhanced SmartXConnect Bluetooth-enabled feature and a ‘feather touch start’.
The motorcycle has now become lighter by 1 kg and offers a slightly enhanced dynamicity in its performance with sharper braking performance too. The Apache RTR 200 4V is now loaded with a Showa high-performance suspension system for enhanced track performance.
The 2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V will be powered by the same 197.75cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve oil cooled engine that manages to deliver a maximum power output of 20.4 PS and offers a peak torque of 16.8 Nm. The RT-Fi (race tuned fuel injection) engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also features a segment first race tuned slipper clutch and the glide through technology.
The new offering comes with a brand-new matte blue colour scheme that highlights the motorcycle’s high-performance character. The gloss black and pearl white colour schemes remain the same.
The 2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V mostly borrows the styling elements from its predecessor. The new visual additions include the LED headlamp with claw position lamps, wave bite key and attractive race graphics.
