The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has announced an extension of the deadline for filing revised and belated Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the Assessment Year 2024-25. The new deadline has been extended from December 31, 2024, to January 15, 2025, as per the powers conferred under Section 119 of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
